March 2010 Trip... Non Comp!!!
Written by Administrator
Wednesday, 24 February 2010 22:49

We are doing another Trip in March.. the 11th to the 14th in fact... we had plans to have this huge competion and make you all pay big bucks for very little but then we lost interest as we to have very little bucks, don't really enjoy competitions and have no interest in being famous top 20 anglers. SO heres the deal we have pre-booked the accomodation and would really like you to join us for a weekends fishing in Mozambique....the cost? You get yourself to Malongane, or at least the border and we'll make a plan for a transfer... you pay for your self catering accomodation... we'll put on a big meal for everyone on the Saturday night and a few non-competition prizes and you join us and some of our mates for a weekend of fishing. You can bring your wives and girlfriends if you like ... it's a weekend of sharing knowledge, stories and fishing!! The only catch is that spaces are limited to 40.....for more info you can contact me or Bogart.

If you want to get to Mozambique and fish for the love of fishing in the spirit of fishing, this trip is for you BUT if you want to fish to win a million bucks and have adoring fans you'll be desperately dissappointed.

We have organised some Ocean Safari (snorkling trips) with the dive center as well as a few other things to keep you and your loved ones entertained...

You can get me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or bogart at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Winkle Comp 17-18 April 2010

It won't be long and  it'll be that time of year again when we all head for Winkle and their Competition.... this year it's going to be on the 17 and 18th April 2010.

This is certainly my favourite comp of the year, don't forget it's a 4 man team event with the added bonus of being an Inter-club competition. Don't worry if your team isn't from a registered club you can still win you just don't get the floating trophy... a trophy that Winkle have held for several years now.

Last year they had over R100 000 worth of prizes and with some of the old faces back on the committee this year I think we are in for a fantastic comp.

Cheers Anton
