April's trip to Mozambique was fantastic.... 8 of us escaped from the 'Rat Race' for a little R and R and a few R and R's as well for a few days in Mozambique. Try out the new 'Kingy' and catch some fish.....

For a full account of the weekend check out Bogart's Malongane Diary.... I'll give you the edited version. 8 of us headed off for a weekend of fishing .... with a special guest being the new 'Kingy' ski from Eric's Canoes.

The fishing was difficult as the wind blew and blew and blew... 2 days East and 1 day West but you can't keep keen anglers down and the guy's took to the water. Saturday saw a lot of paddling and very little else... On Sunday however we decided to use the elements so we drove to Mamoli for the guy's to launch there and drift back to Ponto....The launch was a bit iffy but all made it out and it wasn't long and Dave was into the first Couta of the weekend, Shaun was the man of the day with 3 Couta..... I offered my services as driver so I got back early and spent the next few hours on the 'Kingy'....... It's truly fantastic!!!! (I've done a Kingy feedback report on the Blog)

Monday saw the wind drop right off and swing to the west, I went to my usual spot and was soon into a Couta which I dropped, then another which I dropped and then another that I landed and then another which I dropped.... no bait left and it was back to the beach for an early cheese and Bacon omlette. Mick got a Couta then he and Dave had a lot of Sail-fish action but no takers. It wasn't long and the gentle West turned into a buster..... which put paid to a good mornings fishing.

It was a fantastic weekend with guy's who love fishing and the sea ... always a good combination when the braai's on and beers are in hand.

Tight lines

Anton

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
